Dr. Tammy L. White, DVM, Diplomate, American Veterinary Dental College - Owner

Dr. Tammy L. White graduated from WSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. She completed
the alternate pathway veterinary dental program and became a Diplomate of the American
Veterinary Dental College in 2009 under the mentor ship of Dr. Pat Frost-Fitch. Since 2002, Dr.
White has owned Lower Columbia Veterinary Clinic, a general small animal practice, where she
practices advanced veterinary dentistry. She has recently been accepted as an Adjunct Professor
at WSU College of Veterinary Medicine and will be spending time at the Pullman teaching hospital.
In December 2009 she started
Pacific Northwest Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery, a practice
focused on practicing advanced veterinary dentistry, teaching and consulting services. She is in
the final stages of signing a use agreement with WSU College of Veterinary Medicine to offer
advanced veterinary dental services out of the Spokane Veterinary Teaching Hospital while also
educating senior veterinary students about veterinary dentistry.
Dr. Jani Remsburg, DVM

Dr. Jani Remsburg joined the team at LCVC in November of 2007.  She will be assuming the general
medical and surgical responsibilities of the practice while Dr. White turns her focus towards her
advanced dental cases.  We couldn’t be happier to welcome Dr. Remsburg to our team!
Dr. Remsburg graduated from the University of Idaho in 1996 with her Bachelor’s Degree of Veterinary
Medicine, and received her DVM degree in 2000 from Oregon State University (in conjunction with
Washington State University).  Her husband, Mat, has an Agricultural Degree and plans to raise grass fed
beef when they move into the area with their two black Labrador Retrievers; Belle and Ellie.  While Dr.
Remsburg enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, her special interests include; Internal Medicine,
Clinical Pathology, Preventative Medicine, and Client Education.  She is currently a member of AVMA
(American Veterinary Medical Association), and will soon be a member of WSVMA (Washington State
Veterinary Medical Association).  When she’s not working, Dr. Remsburg enjoys any outdoor activity and
cooking.
Dana

Dana has been a member of the team at LCVC since 2002.  She has worked in the veterinary field for 9
years. Dana is primarily the office manager/receptionist, but she’s always quick to lend a hand wherever
needed.  Dana is happily married to her husband of 7 years, and has 1 stepdaughter.  Dana and her
husband are also the very proud parents of their 11-year-old Husky, Nick, and their purr-fect princess,
Titus, a 9-year-old cat.  Dana has lived in the Northwest for her entire life, and has been a resident of
Longview for 10 years.  Dana enjoys shopping, reading, and spending time with her family when she’s not
working.
Mimi

Mimi has been a member of the team at LCVC since 2002, and has worked in the veterinary field for 9
years.  Mimi is a knowledgeable, dedicated assistant/unlicensed technician.  Mimi and her husband of 19
years have 3 beautiful daughters, a bouncy Border Collie, Sango; 2 cats named Little Foot and Psycho; 2
rats, a hermit crab, and a praying mantis.  Mimi was born and raised in Southwest Washington, and is
pleased to raise her family here.  When Mimi’s not at work, she enjoys playing with her children and pets,
camping, riding 4-wheelers, going for long walks in the woods, and spending time with her family and
friends.
Amy

Amy is also new to Lower Columbia Veterinary Clinic.  She has had experience as a receptionist and
pharmacy assistant, and is excited to learn more of veterinary medicine.  Here at Lower Columbia
Veterinary Clinic, she is an assistant receptionist, technical support, and personal assistant to Dr. White.
Although Amy does not currently own any pets, she would love to own a horse someday.  She has many
interests, including music, sewing, English Country dancing, historical clothing, and traveling.
